The announcement of the next date will be done later. The decision was taken in light of the rising number of coronavirus cases in the country, the Minister said in his tweet. The total number of new cases reported were in excess of 2 lakh in 24 hrs till the last reports came. The announcement was made by Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on his official Twitter handle. After CBSE cancelled Class 10 exam and postponed Class 12 exam 2021, there was clamour to postpone NEET PG 2021 exam. NEET 2021 aspirants have taken to Twitter to push for their demand with #postponeneetpg campaign. The students have been urging NEET authorities to postpone the exam to later date. NEET PG 2021 admits card was released on April 14, 2021, for the NEET PG 2021 exam scheduled to start from April 18. Earlier, the board has reiterated that the NEET 2021 will be held as per the schedule. Now, with most of the states either cancelling or postponing the respective board exams and recently CBSE also deciding on the same line, NEET 2021 spirants also want their exam postponed in the view of spike in Covid 19 cases.
