The best government medical colleges in Himachal Pradesh are Indira Gandhi Medical College in Shimla, Dr. Rajendar Prasad Government Medical College in Tanda, Government Medical College in Nahan, and Government Medical College in Simour. There are six government medical colleges in all, plus one AIIMS Bilaspur that accepts NEET UG and offers MBBS courses. There are 50 MBBS seats in the Central Govt. Medical College, AIIMS Bilaspur, and 720 MBBS seats available in Himachal Pradesh’s State Government Medical Colleges, including one ESIC, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College, Mandi (ESIC).
